Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it and gave to them saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me” After supper he took the cup saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you.”                                                                                                                                                     Luke 22:19-20

 

On this Communion Sunday we warmly welcome everyone to worship. May all of us experience a deep sense of fellowship, friendship and family as we unite to share around the Lord’s Table.  Having remembered His great act of self giving love, may our lives be transformed and wonderfully enriched as we rededicate ourselves in His service.

 

Children wishing to attend Breakaway may leave at the appropriate time in the service. If required Crèche facilities for young children are available in the Parkhill Room.

PWA Annual Meetings, including the launch of Presbyterian Women, will be held in Assembly Hall, Church House on Thursday 1st May at 2.00p.m. and 7.30 p.m.  Speaker: Alison McCaughan; Topic, Now is the Time.

 

Senior Members/55+ Outing will take place on Thursday 8th May.  First come – first served; 53 seats only .Cost; 55+ members£8  - Others £10.  Names to your District Elder, Rev. McMullan or Adrian as soon as possible.

 

Presbyterian Orphans and Children’s Society. All donations should be returned preferably by today. Additional envelopes are available on the Vestibule Table

 

PWA. A number of places are available on the Annual Outing on Saturday 31st May. See details on Vestibule Table.  Ladies going on the trip should have outstanding monies with Ruth Cochrane soon as possible.

Distant Horizons – a documentary focusing on Joe and Janet Campbell’s work in Nepal will be shown on BBC1 N Ireland on Wednesday 30th April between 10.40 pm and 11.10 pm .

A deep sense of God’s presence as we meet at the Table today.  Pray that this very special time will greatly impact upon on and renew our lives and living as we seek to serve Him. 

 

for the launch of Presbyterian Women on Thursday. Ask God to guide the office bearers and committees as they work to establish the new initiative and to honour their vision by drawing many into the work and fellowship.

 

The work of the Coleraine Presbytery as it seeks to support and guide congregations. Pray that Rev. I. Hunter, Clerk and Rev. C. Aitcheson, Moderator  will know God’s grace in exercising their responsibilities.
